About True Natural Goodness
True Natural Goodness (TNG) is a health food brand competing in a competitive retail environment where shelf space is limited and trial is hard to win. With a broad range sold through health stores, TNG wanted a way to stand out in-store, incentivise first-time purchase, and understand what was actually happening at basket level once shoppers reached the till.
The Challenge
TNG faced a familiar FMCG problem in health retail:

TNG wanted a way to drive trial that stayed connected to real purchases and delivered insight, not just entries.
The SeeGap Solution
Using QR codes supported by in-store POS, SeeGap helped TNG launch a receipt-based rewards activation designed to incentivise trial and verify it.

The activation focused on four core elements:
Receipt-Verified Rewards
Shoppers purchased any TNG product, scanned a QR code in-store, and uploaded their receipt to enter an exclusive competition. AI OCR receipt verification ensured only genuine TNG purchases were rewarded.
In-Store Trial Without Discounting
Rather than relying on price cuts, the activation gave shoppers a compelling reason to try TNG while protecting brand value and margin.
Basket & Price Insight
By analysing receipt data, TNG gained visibility into price paid, basket contents, and complementary products purchased alongside TNG items.
Centralised Analytics Dashboard
All scans, verified purchases, and receipt data flowed into SeeGap’s analytics dashboard, giving TNG a clear view of trial performance across stores and time.
The Results
The activation delivered:
